Stepping up the PACE
Due to an increasing client list and expansion plans, PACE has recently recruited an additional four members of staff to its North West clinic, including the appointment of occupational therapist, Jane Hallows.
An expert in long term rehabilitation for upper extremity patients.
Jane will offer assessments and training for those with an injury affecting their hands or arms, teaching clients how to re-adjust to life following limb loss. Commenting she said; “Everyday tasks such as dressing or preparing food can be very daunting for patients at first.”
In addition Andrea Rowlands and Julie Kay-Sportelli join the administration department and the technical team has been strengthened with the appointment of 41 year old, prosthetic technician Steve Ward.
Prosthetist Jamie Gillespie was recruited during 2006 to spearhead PACE’s expansion in the South.
