Jacob's (S)mile
On Sunday 21 March 2010 above the knee amputee Jacob Robinson (13) joined hundreds of runners in the Sport Relief fun run at Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham.
Participants could elect to run one, three or six miles for the charity. For his first attempt, Jacob elected the single mile, which he was delighted to complete in 24 mins.
After successfully crossing the finish line, Jacob proudly announced "I'll be going for three miles next time!
He continued "It was a very challenging event, but with the help of the PACE staff, it was a very achievable one. I'd also really like to thank everyone who sponsored me."
