Inspiration Day
The Limbless Association are hosting an Inspiration Day, on 6th September 2008 at Feltham Community College.
Acting CEO, Alexander Hyde-Smith, explains "The day is designed to give people of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy a wide range of activities and sports, with professional coaching and assistance in a safe and friendly environment. There will be official Football tournaments and workshops and representatives from many of the other leading amputee sports associations, including a former paralympic athlete who will be available to give support and advice to future sporting enthusiasts.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible on the day…and please remember that there is something for everyone…of all ages and abilities and entry to the event is completely free-of-charge (NB: there will be a small charge for some of the simulators and activity stalls).
If you would like to attend, please complete this form (Inspiration Day form (PDF file)) and post it back to us. Or email me (Alexander.Hyde-Smith@wpct.nhs.uk) with your name, contact details and the number of people attending with you.
This is the first event of its kind held by the LA and we hope to make it an annual fixture in our calendar, so please support it in any way that you can.
